DDE has acquired the rights to over 40 films for DVD and home video distribution.  These are predominately genre driven, independent video premieres with outstanding artwork!!!  The price point is designed to benefit both the sell-thru and rental marketplace.  It won’t take long for rental stores to generate their ROI on films of this quality and price.

DDE will be headed by industry veteran Greg Saftich. Greg has 14 years of experience in the home entertainment industry and has previously worked with Lions Gate Films on the launch of their Avalanche label in the USA, and most recently as the V.P. of Sales for independent label, Spartan Home Entertainment.

DDE plans to release two titles per month, which will be sold through the traditional distribution network.  The first DVD 2-Pack will be released on January 20th 2004 featuring Sister Blue, a taught psychological thriller, and Perfect Lover, a sexy sci-fi extravaganza. The DVDs will feature full interactive menus, 16X9 widescreen format, 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, optional Spanish subtitled tracks and many other special features.
